I ride down in Southlands and lease 2 horses down there.
1)Chiquita Banana(Quita)
Is a QH/TB.15.2 Buckskin.7yrs old and quite the handfull!She keeps me on my toes that's for sure!I use her for my lessons, jumping and probably showing this season.I've only been leasing her for a couple months.
2)HollyGoLightly (Holly)
She's a 14.2/14.3ish Morgan.She's bay with a dorsal stripe and some dappling.
She's an older mare (around 20) and has quite the past.
She was left in a stall for 3-5 yrs without being ridden or turned out.She was getting fed and shod as she was at a boarding barn though.(Her "mom" got a divorce, moved to the island, pays board but wont ride or sell her...)
I started riding her last year when I first switched to Southlands and I didn't know of any other horses, she had just started being worked after being stalled for so long.She can't really do what I do in my lessons, so she's my for fun pony.She has a lot of go though, and quite a few quirks so she's not really a kids pony.She's my princess and calms me down when I get fed up with the other one and her mare-ish ness!
