Just had the vet come to give the gals their last pneumabort shot and Candy got her booster tetanus....one more month to go for Candy!

that is really exciting! what are your plans for them? the last time i had a foal it was three years ago when i bought a mare that nobody knew was bred, and then there she was in my field one day when i came home!

Taffy's Baby will be my daughter's New Western Pleasure mount and Candy's Baby will possibly do some reining...it really depends what the baby grows like...her 2004 baby is now 16hh and quite slender...Don't know why he grew so tall and slim, Candy is 15hh and daddy was only 15.1 and both mom and pop are WIDE. You just never know! I am pretty confident that it will be a palomino, however as most of Skip A Little Leo's babies have been dilutes to date...

I am also expecting 2 babies this spring - on ein mid April and one in mid-May. There is a slight difference though - my expected little ones are of the human variety - grandchildren of course!

Two grand babies on their way! That's SO exciting!

Candy's boobs are getting huge! She was having a meltdown yesterday, 'cause I moved her into the arena where the footing is still good. She was super pissed I took her away from her boyfriends, Wrangler and Blaze. She's in the arena with other horses, so it's not like she's all along...silly mare! Couldn't have her giving birth in all the muck outside!

Even Taffy is starting to get boobs! Hahaha!
