Selling horses in this economy.

Although I don't want this board to get political, is anyone else having a tough time selling horses in this market? I've got three lovely horses here at my property that I can't even get people to come out to look at so I'm just wondering how everyone else is faring with their sales?

I think we should organize a "sales only" horse expo so that sellers like myself can bring the horses to the general public and can be viewed in one location.

I see the okanagan breeders association is doing something like that in April...although they seem to be higher priced horses.

What special things are you doing to get your horses ready for sale this year?
